Arnold Real Estate

This town of 4,218 residents is nestled among the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains, in the heart of gold rush country. The town is an ideal getaway destination as it is halfway between Yosemite and Lake Tahoe, and is also home to the Calaveras Big Trees State Park. It has served as a resting place for weary travelers since 1927, when Bob and Bernice Arnold built the first inn.

Times have changed, but less so in the mountains of Calaveras County. The area is still relaxing and the scenery is breathtaking. This is a great town to find an investment or vacation property to fit any budget. Arnold real estate includes cottages of knotty pine surrounded by large evergreen trees that are walking distance to the lake and offer a perfect place to retreat from the big city.

There are several popular subdivisions, with new homes ranging from $600,000 to $1 million. Many of these homes are reminiscent of country ski lodges, with fireplaces, spacious boat parking and spectacular views. Properties and lot sizes tend to be larger, and the spacious homes tend to be better value for money than properties in other vacation towns.

Whether this becomes a secret weekend getaway or your permanent residence, you will find this a relaxing and friendly atmosphere. The scenery is spectacular, with lakes for kayaking and mountain resorts for skiing. Affordable properties are available for any budget, from the modest to the extravagant.
